Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Sunday that “Imran Khan cannot divert the attention of the people from his four-year performance by launching the Farah Gogi movement”.
“Get out of the fear of Imran Khan. The law will not allow anyone to have a bloody march inside Pakistan. Not a single PTI vote was cast to make Shehbaz Sharif the prime minister,” she said while addressing the Meet the Press program of Lahore Press Club on Sunday.
While referring to Imran Khan’s message that he wanted to train the youth of Pakistan, the minister said that if the youth was trained by him, then parents should start repenting already.
“The kind of language, ethics, behavior, mentality and filth that comes from there, no parent would want a person to train their child who was lacking in their own training,” she remarked. “Today, while standing on the container, they were distributing fatwas of infidelity and treason,” she said while adding that these fatwas were being issued so that no one would ask Imran about his four-year performance.
She said that Imran Khan has become the first prime minister in the 75-year history of the country who has been thrown out by the opposition and his allies “for incompetence, theft and corruption”.
Marriyum Aurangzeb alleged that Imran Khan stole sugar, electricity, ghee, medicine from the people for four years by colluding with the mafias. “You lie that there is a conspirator. You are the conspirator,” she exclaimed.
“Today, Shehbaz Sharif has broken the shackles and went to friendly countries, saying that we do not need development for the people of Pakistan, we need plans for the people of Pakistan,” the minister stated while adding that Imran Khan spread chaos and mistrust in the country through slander and hatred. “Imran Khan was the person who did not leave the money of corona, did not leave the money of medicine to the people,” she added.
She said that if the media asked people today, they will say that Imran Khan was a thief and was responsible for 16% inflation in four years. She said the prices of sugar, electricity, and gas have gone up in the last four years due to the incompetency and corruption of Imran Khan.
A unit of electricity had gone up from Rs11 to Rs24, gas from Rs6 to Rs1,400, she claimed. “We will give to the people what you could not give in four years,” Marriyum said while referring to Imran.
