Increasing TTP attacks in Pakistan

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesperson Muhammad Khurasani has confirmed that mujahideen have killed a soldier in a sniper shoot at a Banu military check post at Hasukhel bridge in Mir Ali tehsil of North Waziristan.

He also confirmed the attack on the army, CTD, and police in south Punjab.

The statement said, “Last night, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) mujahideen attacked a joint post of the army, CTD, and police at Janghi tehsil of Dera Ghazi Khan district of south Punjab, in which two personnel were killed, while the rest of the personnel took advantage of the darkness and fled, and the mujahideen received two Kalashnikovs, one G-3, two uniforms and five magazines in the booty. Alhamdulillah.”

He also confirmed the attack by three-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) mujahideen at two check posts in the Sarband police station area of Peshawar with laser guns.

The target of the attack was two check posts which resulted in the death of DSP Sardar Hussain with two guards near the second check post.

“Apart from this, two Kalashnikovs, seven magazines, and Rs 47,000 were looted,” Khurasani added.
