The Indian security forces arrested three Pakistani fishermen identified as Janu Chandani, Nang Chandani and Bilawal Malah within the territorial limits of Pakistan.

Pakistan Fisher Folk Forum spokesperson Dada Adam Ghandro, Ayoub Malah and Noor Muhammad Themore informed local journalists that the Indian forces barged into the territorial limits of Pakistan near Harami Doro of Jati and laid siege to a vessel in which three Pakistani fishermen were present, who tried to save themselves but could not succeed.

The leaders of PFF condemned the atrocity of Indian forces who have been in violation of international law. Dada Adam Ghandro said that more than 60 fishermen in Pakistan were languishing in Indian jails but international authorities, including UN Security Council, had been silent over this extremely serious matter. They stressed the need for setting up limitations in the Arabian Sea to keep the fishers aware.

Noor Muhammad Themore urged Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to take measures for the release of Pakistani fishermen as their families were facing hardships in making both ends meet.
