Cases of pressure, tyranny, and violations of human rights in India fall on deaf ears around the world. Members of any human rights organisation or impartial organisation who wish to visit India-held Kashmir are not permitted to do so. India has refused visas to UN military observers, whose work has been hampered by excessive delays in acquiring visas. What could be clearer evidence of India’s extremism and aggressive intentions along the Line of Control than the fact that it has already targeted UN observers’ vehicles? Based on this study, the UN should take immediate action against India to stop its acts that are affecting regional peace and unrest.
