Institutions should take notice of Sanaullah’s statement, Asad Umar

PDM coalition government has come down to openly unconstitutional decisions and measures, PTI Secretary General

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) General Secretary Asad Umar has demanded that the institutions should take notice of the Interior Minister’s statement in which he was saying that the institutions were fully involved in politics and have been deciding who will come and who will not come.

He said that the rulers wanted to run away from the elections so they increased the number of Union Councils of Islamabad through an amendment in the month of June so that the constituencies were divided and the elections could be delayed.

Addressing a press conference along with party leaders in Islamabad Asad Umar said that the present coalition imported government of PDM has come down to openly unconstitutional decisions and measures.

He said that these rulers were afraid of the people of Pakistan and Imran Khan so they have been trying to run away from the elections.

PTI leader said that in 2018 many political parties including PTI had objections over involvement in politics. The complaints were not only on one side but on both sides.

The journalist was asked about interior minister Rana Sanaullah’s statement in which he said that there was a consensus among political parties and institutions that Imran Khan’s path has to be blocked.

Asad Umar replied that the institutions should take notice of the statement of the Interior Minister, he has made a big allegation about the institutions, and the institutions should answer this statement.

He said that they will decide later whether the institution was neutral or not.

On the question of Najam Sethi’s appointment in the PCB he said that see how this change was coming at the time when Pakistan had reached the final of the T20 World Cup. Asad Umar said that on the one hand there was Ramiz Raja who played Test matches for Pakistan and was part of the team that won the 1992 World Cup.
