Three Pakistani individuals connected to major crimes were detained in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, by Interpol and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in a combined operation.
Following that, the suspects—named Qamar Abbas, Mehtab Khan, and Dost Ali—were sent to Lahore. According to information, Mehtab and Dost were wanted by police in Bahawalnagar and Dera Ghazi Khan, while Qamar was on the radar of the Gujarat Police.
International notices were issued for their apprehension as a result of the fact that all three were accused of robbery and murder. They were given by the FIA’s Immigration Wing to the appropriate local police once they arrived in Pakistan.
Teams from Interpol in Islamabad and Abu Dhabi carried out the operation successfully. An official from the FIA praised Interpol’s National Central Bureau (NCB) for its initiatives to apprehend offenders who flee abroad.
Three wanted criminals were apprehended by the Faisalabad Police in June following another Interpol operation in the United Arab Emirates.
The FIA’s NCB, commonly known as Interpol Pakistan, was in charge of the operation. Soon after the suspects were detained, they were sent to Pakistan.
