IRGC says Iran ready to counter any US intervention

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has declared that its ground forces stand fully prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to any potential US military intervention.

According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, the IRGC said its forces have significantly strengthened their operational readiness through advanced military equipment, continuous combat training, and ongoing improvements in battlefield capabilities. The statement emphasized that these efforts enable Iranian troops to react immediately to any hostile action or attempted incursion.

The IRGC stressed that constant vigilance and round-the-clock operational preparedness remain essential to safeguarding Iran’s national security. It added that all operational units continue to maintain a high level of readiness to address any emerging threats.

Brigadier General Rouhollah Nouri, Deputy Commander of the IRGC Ground Forces, said Iranian forces are fully equipped and prepared to repel any enemy infiltration without delay. He stated that the military remains focused on enhancing its defensive capabilities to ensure a rapid and decisive response to any aggression.

The remarks come amid persistent regional tensions and renewed concerns over the possibility of increased confrontation involving the United States and Iran. Iranian military officials have repeatedly maintained that the country’s armed forces are prepared to defend its territory and respond to any external threat.
