Islamabad court declares Ali Amin Gandapur proclaimed offender

An Islamabad court has declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Amin Gandapur a proclaimed offender.

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday heard a case filed against PTI leaders for violating Section 144 of the CrPC.

Ali Amin Gandapur did not appear when summoned by the court, on which the court started proceedings to declare him a proclaimed offender for continuous absence.

The court has directed to issue an advertisement of accused Ali Amin. The court also rejected the PTI leader’s bail plea.

The court adjourned the hearing till April 12 while accepting Ali Nawaz Awan’s application for exemption from appearance today.
