The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has ordered to initiate proceedings to declare Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shehbaz Gill a proclaimed offender in a case of inciting the institutions to revolt.
The additional sessions judge also ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to arrest Shahbaz Gill immediately.
Judge Tahir Abbas directed that Shahbaz Gill should be arrested and produced at the airport where he appeared in Pakistan.
The court also ordered NADRA chairman to block Shahbaz Gill’s identity card.
The court said that Shahbaz Gill deliberately does not want to proceed with the trial of the case, advertisements should be pasted outside Shahbaz Gill’s residences in Islamabad and Faisalabad.
The court also directed the Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad and Islamabad to submit a report of Shahbaz Gill’s property within 30 days.
During the hearing, the police also submitted the compliance report of Shahbaz Gul’s non-bailable warrant to the court, the police said that Shahbaz Gill tried to arrest Shahbaz Gill according to the warrant, but Shahbaz Gill deliberately went to America for not complying with the warrant.
The court started the process of declaring the proclaimed offender and sought other reports on July 26.
