The winter vacations in private educational institutions of Islamabad and Punjab have been extended further and all private educational institutions will remain closed till January 7.
The winter holidays have been extended in private educational institutions of the federal capital for which the Federal Ministry of Education has issued a notification.
According to the statement holidays in all private educational institutions will now be till January 7. The winter vacations have been extended due to the cold weather of the city.
On the other hand the Higher Education Department of Punjab has also extended the winter holidays and the students will now go to colleges and universities from January 9.
According to the statement of Punjab’s Education Department the colleges and universities will start teaching process from January 9 while the holidays will not be applicable to examinations.
The board and university examinations will be held as per schedule, the statement added.
