The Lahore High Court has summoned the IG Punjab and other officers while hearing the petition for recovery of former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and contempt of court against the police officers.
Justice Amjad Rafiq of Lahore High Court heard the petitions filed by the wife of former Punjab Chief Minister regarding the recovery of Parvez Elahi.
During the hearing, the court had summoned the DIG Operations, DIG Investigation and SP Security and directed that the three officers appear in the court at 10:30 am.
However, DIG Operations and DIG Investigation could not appear in the court as they were out of the city.
On which the Supreme Court summoned IG Punjab and CCPO and other officers.
Former Punjab Chief Minister, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’s condition became unwell in Attock Jail.
According to the sources, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has been brought to PIMS Hospital in Islamabad.
Sources also say that Chaudhry Parvez Elahi will undergo a medical check-up at Pims Hospital.
