Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry on Wednesday said that Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail took a U-turn today and gave a strange explanation for his statement.
Fawad Chaudhry stated on Twitter regarding the remarks of Supreme Court judge Justice Jamal Mandokhail.
He said that he should have excused himself from sitting on the bench because he could not bear this burden.
Fawad Chaudhry said that the judges of the Supreme Court should not be so weak.
Earlier, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) case against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) delaying elections for the Punjab Assembly was being heard by the Supreme Court once more on Wednesday as the government tried to limit the Chief Justice of Pakistan’s (CJP) authority.
Previously, CJP Bandial disregarded the Attorney General for Pakistan (AGP) Usman Awan’s protest that the bench should not consider the PTI petition because it was a “technical problem” that should be brought up in a different case.
