Justice Qazi Faez Isa, the senior-most judge of the Supreme Court and the nominee for the Chief Justice of Pakistan, paid a visit to Jaranwala.
During his visit to Jaranwala, Justice Qazi Faez Isa toured the Krishan Colony area where he assessed the condition of the affected houses and damaged buildings due to the incident.
Justice Qazi Faez Isa also met with the affected residents of Jaranwala, accompanied by his family on the occasion.
Expressing dissatisfaction with the deputy commissioner, Justice Qazi Faez Isa mentioned that three days had passed since the incident, but the affected streets were not cleaned.
The nominee for Chief Justice also instructed the deputy commissioner to immediately ensure the cleaning of the streets in Krishan Colony.
Justice Qazi Faez Isa also met with the affected individuals at a school before departing.
