Kidnapped newborn recovered after 21 days

Sabzazar Operations and Investigation Police Tuesday carried out a joint operation and safely recovered a newborn child who was abducted from Social Security Hospital Lahore 21 days ago. According to the details, a case of abduction of a newborn from the Social Security Hospital Lahore was registered in Sabzazar police station against an unknown woman in the complaint of Muhammad Amir, a resident of Kasur. DIG operation and investigation formed police teams for the safe recovery of the child and the arrest of the accused. Sabzazar Operations and Investigation Police carried out a joint operation and after 21 days, the newborn kidnapped child was safely recovered from Kharak Stop Multan Road. The police with the help of modern technology and by examining the CCTV footage of hospital and rickshaw traced down the suspects. Fauzia Bibi, the accused involved in child abduction, has been arrested along with her husband Naeem who confessed and said that their son was born disabled and later died, so they planned to kidnap a newborn from the hospital. DIG Investigation Athar Ismail accompanying SSP Investigation Syed Hasnain Haider, SP Investigation Saddr Artza Kamil said that the police arrested the accused guilty of the heinous crime by taking timely action and the accused will be punished after fulfilling all the legal requirements. DIG Operations Afzal Ahmed Kausar said on the occasion that Lahore Police is employing all of its resources and expertise to protect the citizens. He said police personnel and officials deserve praise for recovering the child. Additionally, he announced the awards for the Sabzazar police department.
