KP government has prepared a draft to further amend the use of the provincial government’s helicopter along with law related to salaries, allowances and privileges of ministers.

According to the draft amendment the use of the provincial government’s helicopters since November 1, 2008 will be considered legal and valid and no question could be raised on the use. It could also be used for personal purposes on rent but permission for that will have to be obtained from the Chief Minister KP.

The draft has also stated that a government helicopter could also be used by a minister, adviser, special assistant or government official in addition to the chief minister. The approval of the amendment act is on the agenda of the provincial assembly session.
