According to court documents filed on June 22 in Los Angeles Superior Court, the unnamed chef claims she regularly worked 11 to 12 hour shifts, five days a week, while employed in Jenner’s household. The chef alleges that despite informing her supervisors of a high risk pregnancy and requesting accommodations, she continued to be assigned physically demanding tasks throughout her employment.
According to the filing, the chef joined Jenner’s household in November 2024 and disclosed her pregnancy a month later, asking for workplace adjustments to protect her health. She alleges that on New Year’s Eve 2024, she was required to carry heavy food items uphill and across a street without assistance, which left her dizzy and gasping for air until security staff stepped in to help.
In a separate incident outlined in the complaint, the chef says she was asked to cater a birthday celebration in Palm Springs on February 1 without sufficient support, despite requesting additional help in advance. She claims the resulting exhaustion led her to break down emotionally during the event. According to the documents, the following morning she began experiencing severe blood loss and was rushed to a hospital, where she was told there was no detectable heartbeat and that she had lost her unborn child. She further alleges that after informing her employers of the miscarriage, she was accused of leaving the kitchen and refrigerator in disarray.
The chef is now seeking unspecified damages, citing pregnancy discrimination, denial of proper support, underpayment and wrongful dismissal. None of the allegations have been tested or proven in court. This marks the third lawsuit filed against Jenner by a former household employee in 2026, following separate complaints from two former housekeepers alleging a hostile work environment and other claims.
The development comes just days after Jenner’s boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, announced a new animated project alongside Selena Gomez.
