Renowned Pakistani TV host Nida Yasir has shared her views on the rising divorce rates in society, stating that “people’s patience has diminished, and now they are aware of their rights. When conflicts arise, people do not seek solutions.”
Nida Yasir recently participated in her first YouTube podcast, where she openly discussed her career, personal life, and experiences with social media trolling.
In the beginning of the interview, Nida Yasir mentioned that it may be hard to believe, but she holds a degree in physics and has studied hotel management for two years at a merit-based university.
She shared that studying hotel management allowed her to develop the skill of effective communication, and she later worked in the hotel industry for some time.
Nida mentioned that entering the showbiz industry wasn’t her initial plan. She intended to study abroad in Switzerland for higher education, requiring a sum of 1.6 million rupees. She told her father that she would collect the money herself through acting and pursuing higher education, but when she stepped into the world of acting, she remained there.
Nida Yasir stated that the purpose shifted from education to something else.
Speaking about the escalating divorce rate, Nida Yasir emphasized that “people’s patience has diminished, and now they are aware of their rights. When conflicts arise, people do not seek solutions.”
She said, “If people are informed and aware of their rights, Allah hasn’t said to separate. When you commit and marry someone, you have to make repeated efforts to sustain the relationship.”
She also shared her own experience, mentioning, “My husband (Yasir Nawaz) and I have had several arguments. It’s normal and happens in every couple.”
Nida mentioned that after getting married, it was initially difficult to manage time for their children due to her acting commitments, leading her to temporarily quit acting. However, a few months later, when Yasir Nawaz produced the drama ‘Nadaaniyan’, she resumed acting and immediately received an offer to host a morning show.”
