Lahore Police has finalized the security details for tonight [Chand Raat] and Eid ul Fitr prayer gatherings.
As per reports, Lahore Police has been deployed at 20 major markets in the city.
Moreover, 55 pickets had been installed to prevent rioting, one-wheeling, and aerial firing.
DIG operations said, “94 places with overcrowding identified, blockades and blockade at 226 places to prevent street crime.”
A total of 4891 mosques and other places of worship in the city will be provided full security.
DIG operations also revealed that arrangements for 190 open places of Eid prayers had been completed.
According to reports, 243 teams of Dolphin Squad, and PRU 96 teams will carry out effective patrolling.
