LHC dismisses petition seeking removal of Imran Khan as chairman of PTI

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has dismissed a petition seeking the removal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan from the post of chairman of PTI.

A three-member bench headed by Lahore High Court Chief Justice Amir Bhatti heard the cases related to Imran Khan’s disqualification.

Petitioner Advocate Afaq Ahmed appeared in the court and said that the Election Commission is not disqualifying Imran Khan from the post of Chairman, on which the Chief Justice remarked that after the action of the Election Commission, your petition has become ineffective.

Advocate Afaq Ahmed replied that my application had not yet become ineffective.
Azhar Siddique said, “I accept that Imran Khan’s petition is going on in a single bench.”

After this LHC dismissed the petition seeking the removal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan from the post of chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The court also dismissed the petition against Imran Khan’s disqualification in the prohibited funding case after the voter of the constituency withdrew the petition.
