The 57th martyrdom anniversary of Major Raja Aziz Bhatti, recipient of Nishan-e-Haider, was observed on Monday.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said General Officer Commanding Major General Haroon Ishaq Raja laid a wreath at his grave in Ladian, Gujrat. A Pakistan Army contingent presented the guard of honour.
Scores of people from different walks of life, civil and military officials and the relatives of the martyred army officer attended the wreath-laying ceremony.
