Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the New Zealand cricket team’s tour of Pakistan.

The New Zealand team will come to Pakistan in two different stages to play two Test matches, eight One-day internationals (ODIs) and five T20 Internationals.

In the first phase from December 27 to January 15, both teams will play two Tests and three ODIs.

Both test matches are part of the ICC World Test Championship, whereas the three ODIs are part of the ICC World Cup Super League.

The first Test will be played in Karachi from December 27 to 31, while the second test will be played in Multan from January 4 to 8. The three ODIs will be played in Karachi on January 11, 13 and 15.

In the second phase, the visiting team will play 10 white ball matches in Pakistan from April 13 to May 7, during which both teams will compete in five ODIs and five T20 Internationals.

The first four T20 Internationals will be played in Karachi on April 13, 15, 16 and 19, while the fifth T20 and the first two ODIs will be played in Lahore on April 23, 26 and 28 respectively. The last three ODIs will be played in Rawalpindi on May 1, 4 and 7.

New Zealand Cricket chief executive David White said that the Black Caps were eagerly looking forward to the two tours. He said that New Zealand’s players were looking forward to enjoying the experience of playing in Karachi, Multan, Lahore and Rawalpindi associated with the culture of cricket.

He also said that the recently concluded tour of Australia and England to Pakistan has made him well aware of the quality and challenge of the Pakistan cricket team in all three formats of cricket.
