Maryam says Bani Gala was headquarters of corrupt practices

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has stated that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan’s residence at Bani Gala was the “headquarters of corrupt practices” when the government was being led by the PTI.

In an address to the PML-N’s social media team in Lahore on Monday, Maryam talked about the alleged audio clip between businessman Malik Riaz and his daughter that went viral on social media.

In the audio clip, the businessman’s daughter could allegedly be heard telling her father that former first lady Bushra Bibi had demanded a five-carat diamond ring.

The PML-N leader, in her address said that Farah Gogi was Imran Khan’s frontwoman to conduct corrupt activities.

She said that this case was enough to open the eyes of everyone, adding that everyone should know how much bribery people engaged in for job placement, appointment or transfers.

Maryam Nawaz said that Imran Khan failed to deliver in the past four years and could not give an account of his performance during his tenure.

The PML-N leader added that the country was about to default and foreign exchange reserves stood depleted because of Khan’s ineffective economic policies.
