Maula Jatt records to be the biggest grossing film from Indian subcontinent in 4 years, says report

The British film Publication screen daily reported the collection of 44,149 pounds (11.5 million) on the fifth weekend of the legends of Maula Jatt screening making it to be the highest-grossing film from the Indian Subcontinent in 4 years.

The revenue of the film in the fifth week was almost a 1.3million pounds (Rs 340 million) surpassing Indian ponniyan selvan: 1 which earned 1.26 million pounds (Rs 229 million).

As per the movie’s official Instagram, account film made almost $7.8 million (Rs 1.7 billion) at the box office within the first four weeks of its release.

Despite having fewer screens than the Bollywood movies, Maula Jatt still outperformed RRR, starring Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn, Ram Setu, featuring Akshay
Kumar, and Thank God, starring Sidharth Malhotra, at the UK box office.

The film was released worldwide on 13 October.

Directed by Bilal Lashari, the film stars famous names in Pakistani media like Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malik, Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shaffi, and Ali Azmat.
