May 9 events: Imran Khan named in more cases

PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been named in more cases over the events of May 9.

According to police sources, a case of arson, vandalism and attack on GHQ Gate in Rawalpindi on May 9 has been registered in RA Bazar and New Town police stations, in which Imran Khan has also been named.

Fifteen people, including former provincial minister Raja Basharat, are already named in the case.

According to sources, the PTI chairman has been named in six cases under the Terrorism Act. Three cases were registered against him on May 9 events and three on May 10 events.

The PTI chairman has been named in two cases each registered in Faisalabad and Rawalpindi, and one each in Gujranwala and Mianwali.
