Mazhar Moin lashes out at actors’ ‘non-professionalism’

Famous Pakistani director Mazhar Moin took to Facebook on March 6 to share a post against contemporary actors’ non-professionalism. The ‘Quddusi Sahab Ki Bewah’ fame director had uploaded the status while on the sets of his upcoming project, the statement going as follows:

“On set! And the whole team is waiting for the actors since 7 a.m. Shame on them! Is this the professionalism? Is this the punctuality? At least a man like me will never think of casting these type of people…point to ponder!.”

People were quick to realize that Mazhar Moin was working under a production house with a cast not chosen by himself, and that it was out of sheer helplessness that the director had put up such a status. Otherwise, no one expects such a disappointing post from someone who has been working in the showbiz industry for more than a decade.

Fans also instantly realized that Mazhar Moin was currently working with comparatively newer actors who had often been pointed out by seniors for their non-professional attitude towards work, while in his previous projects, he had mostly collaborated with the likes of Qavi Khan, Sania Saeed, Hina Dilpazir Khan, Badar Khalil and Maria Wasti.
