Mens Club Magazine is known from the times when ace models, fashion designers and photographers were ruling the fashion industry and helping it gain newer heights. With models like Vaneeza Ahmad, Amina Haq and Iman Ali and photographers like Arshad Tareen, the success which the Pakistani fashion industry achieved in the 90s and early 2000s was beyond imagination.
Mens Club Magazine’s initiation gave a chance to all the new yet attractive male models to feature in a magazine designed exclusively for them for the very first time in Pakistan.
While the magazine is not in print anymore, its Facebook and Instagram pages keep re-sharing photos from the olden times, reminding Pakistanis of the progressiveness the country had had its share of more than two decades ago.
On model and actor Aijaz Aslam’s birthday, which happened to be on October 3, the Mens Club Magazine administration took to Instagram to wish him a happy birthday by sharing his photo along-with veteran model Vaneeza Ahmad.
The photo was from a 90s’ edition of the magazine, featuring both Aslam and Ahmad dressed in black against a blue and green background. The magazine attached a lengthy caption along, introducing the netizens to AIjaz Aslam’s initial days as a model, in which he worked hard and professionally and succeeded in adding to the list of the top models of those times. He was also admired for his healthy lifestyle, as a result of which he still looks fit and young.
“We wish him all the best for his future and hope that he keeps shining like a star,” said the caption in the end, while informing that Aijaz Aslam has also recently launched a grooming products line of his own brand called “Aijazz”, which has garnered a lot of love, appreciation and following.
