Mohsin Dawar elected to lead NA standing committee on foreign affairs

Standing Committee on foreign affairs unanimously elected Member of National Assembly Mohsin Dawar as the new Chairman on Friday.

Mohsin Dawar is an independent MNA from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
He joined the National Assembly in August of this year. In addition to being a co-founder of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) for Human Rights, he also serves as the chairperson of the National Democratic Movement (NDM).

Member of Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Zohra Wadood Fatemi proposed the name of Mohsin Dawar as the new chairman during the meeting.

The proposal was also supported by other members of the committee, Syed Abrar Ali Shah, Zulfiqar Ali Behan, Maiza Hameed, Muhammad Abu Bakar, and Ahmed Hussain Deharr.

Members of the committee congratulated Mohin Dawar on taking charge as Chairman of the standing committee.
