Former federal minister Moonis Elahi on Thursday with former Sindh governor and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Ismail and Amir Kayani at the Chief Minister’s.
According to reports, the prevailing political situation in the country came under discussion. Speaking on this occasion, the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader said that Imran Khan is the real leader of the nation. “We would stand by Imran Khan through thick and thin. The Punjab government is a trust given by Imran Khan and he can take it back whenever he wants. We have come to serve the masses and will continue to do so till Allah Almighty desires.”
He claimed that the opposition parties are unnerved to see Imran’s rising popularity. “If we tender resignations from the assembly even then the dream of opposition parties to form a government will remain elusive.”
Imran Ismail said, “Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi are our esteemed allies and we fully repose our trust in them,” adding that Elahi and Moonis “had won our hearts”. Amir Kayani said that the unity of the PML-Q and the PTI will not fall apart come what may.
