Rain is expected in most parts of Balochistan, including Quetta, today with strong winds.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is partly cloudy in most districts of Balochistan, quetta, Kalat, Khuzdar, Ziarat, Barkhan, Chaman, Kalat, Dalbandin, Awaran, Panjgur, Kharan and Lasbela.
Quetta recorded a maximum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius while Ziarat recorded a maximum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius.
Kalat recorded a maximum temperature of 22 C, Pishin 24 C, Gwadar 33 C and Sibi 35 C.
The Pinjra bridge connecting Quetta to Bolan has been restored after it was washed away again.
On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain and thundershowers in Karachi today.
The city was partly cloudy with the temperature settling at 32 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light to heavy rain in the evening with thunderstorms, the humidity in the air is 44 percent.
The wind speed from the northeast is 14 nautical miles while the temperature is likely to go up to 36 degrees Celsius.
