HYDERABAD: Rekha Lachhman Malhi gave birth to six underweight babies in a private hospital.

Rekha, from the Kunri area of Umerkot district, was shifted to Al Khidmat Hospital near Hyderabad Railway Station a few days back for the delivery of the babies after she felt labor pangs.

According to the doctors and staff of the hospital, Rekha gave birth to three baby girls and three boys, but five died one after another.

They added that only one baby girl was alive but was in precarious condition due to her low weight. “We are trying to save the lives of the mother and her baby now,” they added.
