MQM-P likely to get three Sindh cabinet slots

Three MQM-P MPAs are likely to be inducted into the Sindh cabinet within the next few days.

Credible sources privy to both MQM-P and PPP on Monday confided to Minute Mirror that the PPP leadership had directed Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to seek the names of three lawmakers from the top leadership of the MQM-P so that they could be inducted in the provincial cabinet as per the charter of demands signed by the MQM-P leaders with senior leaders of PDM ahead of bringing the successful no-confidence motion against former prime minister Imran Khan.

The same credible sources revealed that the name of Amir Khan had also been finalized for the slot of Sindh governor after hectic parleys between the leadership of both coalition partners in the Shehbaz Sharif-led government.

“The name of Aamir Khan has been discussed extensively by the top leaders and he is most likely to be assigned the new seat against the seat that fell vacant after Imran Ismael had resigned some four months back,” added the sources.

It is pertinent to mention here that during the past many media talks MQM-P had expressed its anger and indignation over the delayed response by the PPP leadership in accepting its demands as per their agreement which was brokered by top PDM leaders.
