Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) member Rana Ansar has become the leader of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly.
On Wednesday, the MQM submitted a petition for the change of leader of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly, on which the MQM had the support of the defected members of the GDA and PTI.
MQM’s Rana Ansar has been nominated by the united opposition for the post of leader of the opposition, whose appointment was announced by the Speaker Sindh Assembly.
Member Sindh Assembly Rana Ansar is the first woman opposition leader of the Provincial Assembly.
The Speaker said that I congratulate Rana Ansar on becoming the first woman opposition leader of the Sindh Assembly, when the notification in this regard will be issued, it will be given to everyone.
Later, the Speaker adjourned the assembly till 11 am on August 2.
