Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar formally announces to quit PPP

Former Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar has formally announced his decision to quit the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar formally announced his decision to quit the PPP while talking on a TV program.

Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar expressed his best wishes for the party. He was elected senator from Sindh in 2018 and resigned from his seat on November 10, 2022.

Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar was vocal against leaked “dirty videos” of his 75-year-old senate colleague Azam Swati and resigned from his seat.

He had announced his resignation from Senate in a tweet, “met a senior leader from the party today. He conveyed that the party leadership wasn’t happy with my political positions and wanted my resignation from the senate. I gladly agreed to resign.”

He had also stated that as a political worker he cherished his right to express opinions on matters of public interest.
