The petition of Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, for bail has been disposed by the Islamabad NAB Court after hearing the arguments of the parties.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has not issued arrest warrants for Bushra Bibi, it was told in the court by the NAB prosecutor general.

Accountability Court Islamabad Judge Muhammad Bashir heard the bail plea of Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi in the 190 million pounds case. Bushra Bibi appeared in the court, but Imran Khan did not come inside the courtroom with Bushra Bibi and waited in the car.

The NAB prosecutor argued in the court that Imran Khan alleged that NAB had raided his house. He said that none of NAB’s teams raided or issued arrest warrants for Bushra Bibi. This bail application has become infructuous. Bushra Bibi should cooperate with the investigation whenever needed.

Bushra Bibi’s lawyer Khawaja Haris said that Bushra Bibi stayed outside the NAB office for six hours, but NAB said that they did not summon her.

The court disposed of Bushra Bibi’s petition after hearing the arguments of the parties.
