NAB issues letter to restore Ishaq Dar’s frozen assets

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has issued a letter to restore the frozen assets of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

According to details, NAB Lahore has issued a letter to the district administration to restore the frozen assets of Ishaq Dar. NAB has issued the letter to also restore Rs5.58 billion worth of five accounts and one house.

It has been said that the property Hajveri House, 7-H, Gulberg-III should be returned to Ishaq Dar and Rs508.9 million should be restored to the account of Bank Alfalah and Rs0.365 million to the account of Habib Bank.

Similarly, an account of Rs432 in Allied Bank, Rs249 in Al Barka Bank and Rs1,000 in Alfalah Bank have also been ordered to be restored.

The district administration has again written a letter to NAB Lahore to verify the letter and after verification, the frozen accounts and properties of Ishaq Dar will be restored.

Dar’s assets were frozen after his continuous absence from court proceedings.
