NAB submits list of cases against Imran in LHC

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has provided details of cases against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday.

The former prime minister, who is currently embroiled in several legal proceedings after being ousted by a no-confidence vote in April of last year, recently filed a request with the high court for information regarding all legal actions brought against him across the nation.

In its report, the anti-graft buster claimed that NAB Rawalpindi was looking into two cases involving the PTI leader. Although one of them involves the retention of presents from the Toshakhana and abuse of authority, the other involves alleged financial gains and hiding records from the authorities.

It said both cases were currently at the inquiry stage, adding that a call-up notice had been issued to the political figures.

The NAB has requested that the high court dismiss Imran Khan’s petition after receiving the case’s specifics.
