Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has not yet received a formal invitation from the Indian government to attend the Indian Premier League (IPL) final.

The IPL final is scheduled to be held on May 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Reports had suggested that Mohsin Naqvi could be invited to the high-profile event.

However, officials have confirmed that no official invitation has been issued so far.

Sources say that the matter regarding the PCB chairman’s possible visit to India will be decided by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. They add that any movement on the issue depends on a formal invitation from the Indian authorities.

Without an official invitation, there has been no further progress on the visit arrangements.

Meanwhile, the ICC Board meetings are scheduled for May 30 and 31 in Ahmedabad. Mohsin Naqvi is expected to represent the Pakistan Cricket Board at these meetings.

However, his participation in the meetings is still unclear. The overall situation regarding his travel to India remains uncertain.

Officials have not confirmed whether he will attend both the ICC meetings and the IPL final-related events.

The issue is currently pending and will be clarified once an official invitation is received and a final decision is taken at the government level.
