Nation won’t forgive those who vandalized ‘Martyrs Ceremonials’: COAS

Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir on Thursday visited police lines in Islamabad.

COAS along with officers and soldiers of Islamabad Police addressed the families of police martyrs.

On his arrival at police lines, the Chief of Army Staff was received by Inspector General Islamabad Police Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan.

While addressing the families of police martyrs COAS asserted, “What happened on May 9 is very sad and condemnable.”

“The nation will not forgive or forget those who desecrate the martyr’s memorials and hurt their dignity, and such a thing will not be tolerated,” said COAS.

“Pakistan Army, police, and law enforcement agencies are like a symbol of the state and a wall of lead, which does not hesitate to sacrifice anything for the sake of the dignity of the country and the nation,” COAS urged.

COAS further assured that the people of Pakistan and the Pakistan Army are standing with the families of the martyrs of all law enforcement agencies and will continue to stand by them.
