Political rivals have criticized former prime minister and head of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif’s trip to Saudi Arabia.

The meeting between the Saudi crown prince Mohammad Bin Salman (MBS) and the PML-N Supremo was confirmed by information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb.

However, there has been criticism about the meeting that there was no such meeting.

The Saudi government’s formal press announcement on the meeting has been demanded by the critics. Additionally, no recent photos from the meeting were made public. This had encouraged the critics to develop their narrative.

Similar to this, it has also been criticized over the Eidul Fitr prayers of the Sharif family.

A well-known anchor claimed that the Saudi authorities even encouraged the Sharif family not to offer their prayers in Makkah and Medina since there was a chance that people might chant insulting slogans at them.

Even more outrageously, according to anchor, the Sharif family was required to offer their Eid prayers in their Jeddah home.

Nawaz Sharif’s departure from Jeddah for London has also come under fire for choosing to stay in London rather than travel to Pakistan.

Nawaz Sharif has taken a flight back to London, a well-known anchor and YouTuber said. He said that whenever his health improves and doctors give him the all-clear to travel, PML-N leader would return to Pakistan.
