No illegal action allowed, Naqvi appalled by raid on Shujaat’s house

Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has said that illegal action against anyone will not be allowed.

Taking to Twitter, Naqvi said that he was surprised by the police action for the arrest of former chief minister and PTI’s President Chaudhry Parvez Elahi.

Responding to a tweet of federal minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain, he said that law should take its course but he was appalled the way police stormed Chaudhry Shujaat’s house when it had raided Chaudhry Parvez Elahi’s residence.

Naqvi tweeted, “No Illegal action will be allowed by anyone, I am in Medina and getting all the details. Appalled to know that team went to arrest Ch Pervaiz Elahi but stormed Ch Shaujaat’s House in which Ch Salik Hussain got injured. Law should take its course.”

Chaudhry Salik had tweeted, “Pervaiz Elahi Sahib’s sister-in-law, who is my aunt, told the police that Pervaiz Elahi Sahib is present at our house and said that he is inside, break the door. The police did what they did, but they didn’t do anything.”
