HUM Television’s blockbuster serial “Sang e Marmar” needs no introduction. Written by Mustafa Afridi and directed by Saif e Hassan, this star-studded serial created visible ripples in the drama industry. After almost four years of the release of “Sang e Marmar”, it now seems that its sequel is on its way.
Noman Ijaz, who played one of the main characters in the serial, recently sent across a video message through HUM Television’s Instagram page, dressed in an attire almost similar to the one he had put on in “Sang e Marmar”. The actor was found saying that he is currently speaking from the sets of “Sang e Maah”, a project that will be equally enjoyed by the viewers. This statement by the veteran actor gave a hint of “Sang e Maah” being a sequel to “Sang e Marmar”, also carrying almost the same cast such as Sania Saeed and Kubra Khan, the additions being Atif Aslam and Samiya Mumtaz.
The releasing date of “Sang e Maah” hasn’t been announced as yet, but the fact that its shoot is under progress tells that the sequel of “Sang e Marmar” is not a secret anymore and will hit our screens soon.
