North Korea executes two teenagers for watching K-dramas

The democratic People’s Republic of Korea has executed two teenage boys for watching and distributing South Korean and American dramas and Movies.

The 16 and 17-year-old boys were executed by firing squad in front of spectators on an airfield in Hyesan calling their crime evil.

The killing allegedly occurred in October, however, the news of the two lads’ execution for viewing and sharing K-dramas spread recently.

Eyewitnesses of the execution stated that they were forced to watch boys killing.

Recently, a similar-aged child was put to death for the murder of his stepmother in North Korea.

According to locals, they were told that both crimes were equally awful.

The locals said they were told that people who consume South Korean dramas and films or who kill others to disturb the peace will not be pardoned and will receive the death penalty as the harshest punishment.

According to past reports, North Korea apparently wants parents to name their children patriotic names like “Bomb,” “Gun,” and “Satellite,” rather than “too soft” ones.
