Pakistanis can’t seem to stop getting over the new sensation Shae Gill, and some notable celebrities of the country have also added themselves to the list of those people who can’t help admiring the talent of Gill, who rose to fame with Coke Studio’s latest season’s popular number, ‘Pasoori’, in which she featured and sang along with Ali Sethi.
Osman Khalid Butt of ‘Ehd-e-Wafa’ fame took to his Instagram account to share a selfie with the new widely admired Pakistani singer to say that he ran into her at a gathering. One of the hashtags that went along with the photo shared by Butt said “fanboymoment”, which gave the impression that the actor too, like almost every other Pakistani, had become a fan of Gill ever since the release of her first official song.
Before ‘Pasoori’, Shae Gill, as she is known despite her real name being Anushae Gill, would be observed covering old songs on her Instagram page, which had already earned her a lot of admirers. With ‘Pasoori’, however, Shae Gill has acquired a whole new fan base altogether, with the majority on the look-out for her next song.
