The SLC Board XI was bowled out for 196 runs in their first innings against Pakistan during the two-day exhibition game in Hambantota on Tuesday.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, who will be playing Test cricket again after a year, started bowling for the Men in Green.

Oshada Fernando stole the show with his tough effort as Hassan Ali and Shaheen each claimed three wickets.

Fernando showed incredible resilience and tenacity in the face of a tough bowling onslaught, refusing to buckle under the strain.

He played every ball with extreme caution, picking his strokes wisely, and displaying exceptional skill.

Fernando achieved a well-deserving milestone thanks to his adroit batting with his century.

The removal of the centurion Oshada Fernando by Aamer Jamal was a very important breakthrough. Jamal had two wickets towards the end. Additionally, Abrar Ahmed claimed two wickets.

During the game, both teams are permitted to use every player in their squads.

Babar Azam will lead the Pakistan team in an important test series after a long break for the national squad.
