Shaheen Shah Afridi is also making his four-month international cricket comeback. Following the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, he missed five Tests and three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) against England and New Zealand because of knee rehabilitation.
Fakhar Zaman and Haris Rauf have also rejoined the national team after resting.
Zaman Khan and Saim Ayub, both young players, have kept their spots in the T20I team. Ihsanullah, a young pacer, was also retained in the T20I squad and received his first call-up to the ODI team.
