Pakistan and India have appointed new Charge d’Affaires on the completion of the tenure of the current charge d’Affaires.
Pakistan and India have nominated new charge d’Affaires, and sources say that Saad Ahmed Warraich has been nominated by Pakistan as the new charge d’affaires for India.
Saad Warraich is director general of the Foreign Office in Afghanistan, Iran and Turkey.
Sources said that India has also decided to appoint a new Charge d’Affaires in Pakistan, on behalf of India, Geetika Srivastava will be the new Indian Charge d’Affaires in Pakistan.
Geetika Srivastava is currently the Joint Secretary of the Indo-Pacific Region in the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
It should be noted that Pakistan’s Charge d’ Affaires in Delhi Aizaz Khan is returning to Pakistan after completing his term, while Dr. Suresh Kumar of India is going back to India after completing his term of posting.
