Pakistan Army eliminates four terrorists in IBO

Pakistan army and police conducted a joint intelligence-based operation (IBO) on the night of March 28 in Lakki Marwat, the Inter-Services Public Relations said in the official statement.

The operation was carried out in the general area of Sheri Khal on the reported presence of terrorists.

“In exchange of fire, four terrorists were killed and one apprehended,” said the statement.

The killed terrorists were identified as terrorist commander Sajid, and Aleem, Aftab and Fazal ur Rehman.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the spot in heavy amount. The killed terrorists were involved in kidnappings and terrorist activities against security forces and civilians.

These terrorists were also involved in an incident that happened on Jan 22 in which an FC soldier was martyred. Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the area.
