Pakistan, China enjoy excellent strategic ties rooted in mutual respect: Marriyum Aurangzeb

Interior minister says that CPEC is an example of Pakistan’s economic prosperity and strategic partnership with China

Interior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday said that Pakistan and China relished in exemplary brotherly ties rooted in mutual respect.

She said this during her visit to the Chinese Embassy on the occasion of the 71st Anniversary of the establishment of Pakistan-China diplomatic ties. She did so on special instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

She said that Pakistan’s friendship with China began from strategic partnerships and diplomatic relations. She said the peoples both countries were connected in eternal friendship.

She went on to say that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor was an instance of Pakistan’s economic prosperity and strategic partnership. The minister commented that whenever China launched a project in Pakistan, the people had faith that it would be for their benefit.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that there were multiple ongoing and upcoming projects which were a result of the ties between the two nations.

She extended her sincere felicitations to the people and government of China on the historic day and also cut the commemoratory cake on the completion of 71 years of Pak-China diplomatic ties.

Federal Secretary Information and Broadcasting Shahera Shahid were also present on the occasion.
