Pakistan condemns Kashmiris’ properties confiscation in IIOJK

Foreign Office (FO) spokesman Mumtaz Zahra Baloch expressed concern over the confiscation of properties of Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and said that Pakistan condemns the confiscation of the property of Hurriyat leader Akbar.

In a weekly media briefing on Thursday, the Foreign Office spokesperson said that the import of crude oil from Russia is important for Pakistan’s energy security. Russian crude oil is part of efforts to meet the country’s needs.

She said that talks were going on between Pakistan and Iraq to run a ferry service.

Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that foreign secretary is going to Tehran for Pak-Iran talks. She said that Dr. Asad Majeed Khan will also meet the Iranian foreign minister.

In response to a question, she said that those responsible for May 9 will be brought to justice, and action will be taken against them according to the constitution and law of Pakistan.

Responding to a question on Afghanistan, she said that Pakistan has been in touch with the Afghan interim administration for counter-terrorism.
