Pakistan doesn’t exist to make Zardaris and Sharifs rich: PM Khan

Imran Khan says opposition parties fight tooth and nail in the past but now have joined together against govt

Prime Minister Imran Khan has assailed the opposition parties Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party for their “double standards”, saying the country wasn’t made to make the Sharifs and Zardaris rich.

The premier was speaking during the initiation ceremony of health cards for the people of Faisalabad and appreciated the Punjab government for the Rs400 billion project. He lamented the fact that multiple presidents and premiers came but no one paid attention to the poorer segments of society. Khan pointed that the opposition parties used to fight tooth and nail but had not joined forces against the government.

The PM commented that Pakistan didn’t exist to make leaders like the Sharifs and Zardaris rich. He accused PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for ignoring the people of Sindh. Khan said that Bilawal criticized the PTI government for health cards but had done nothing for the people of his province.

Turning his attention to the former president Asif Ali Zardari, the premier accused him of buying politicians. He also criticized the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, saying that he had claimed to be suffering from heart-related issues but was now seen moving about without any difficulty.

Khan said that he joined politics to make the country a better place. He said that people needed to know that Pakistan was made for a reason. The Muslims of the sub-continent voted for its existence knowing that they may not be able to become a part of it.
